Transporter Bridge Centenary Walk

Come and enjoy the changing faces of Middlesbrough with this walk, which takes in the iconic Transporter Bridge, clock tower and then on to Temenos the world acclaimed sculpture by Anish Kapoor.

The Walk 4 Life Mile

This is a gentle walk along pavements and surfaced footpaths through the historic area of Middlesbrough to the iconic Transporter Bridge and back.

	Newham Grange Country Farm to Green Lung Circular Walk - 3.5 miles (1 hour 20 minutes on foot)

Hemlington, Stainsby & Bluebell Beck Circular Walk - 6.8 miles (3 hours on foot)

	Newham Grange Country Farm to Nunthorpe Circular Walk - 8.2 miles (3 hours 30 minutes on foot)

Hemlington to Newby Circular Walk - 4.5 miles (1 hour 45 minutes on foot)

	Nunthorpe Circular Walk - 5.2 miles (2 hours on foot)

River Tees Circular Walk - 7 miles (3 hours on foot)

	Historical Acklam - (3.5 miles) A walk of historical interest in the area of Acklam, visiting the Avenue of Trees, Acklam Hall, St Mary's Church and Devil's Bridge.

Hemlington Lake - (1.25 miles)

A nature walk around Hemlington Lake, Where you may see a variety of birds, mammals, waterside plants and fish.

Middlebeck - (2.5 miles)

A flat and easy circular walk from Pallister Park along Middlebeck, home to some of Middlesbrough's water voles.

Albert Park - (1.25 miles)

This is a gentle and level walk, which uses surfaced footpaths around the park. It links areas of natural, historic and artistic interest.

Middlehaven - (1.75 miles)

This is a gentle walk along pavements and surfaced footpaths through the historic area around Middlesbrough Dock. The route takes in the iconic Transporter Bridge and the stadium of Middlesbrough Football Club.

Fairy Dell - (1.75 miles)

This is a beautiful walk to explore Fairy Dell lake, woodland and park. There are some steep gradients and steps, the paths can become muddy and slippery. Start at Newham Grange Leisure Farm, or alternatively pick up the walk from Gunnergate Lane.
