Thinking of setting up a business?

The Enterprise Academy project teaches 11-19 year olds, from across the Tees Valley, about the key principles of business and self-employment by using Middlesbrough Football Club as its model. Students learn by using real life examples drawn from this multi-million pound organisation. Participants have the opportunity to gain an entry level 3 certificate (just below NVQ1) in “Business&Enterprise”.

If you’re unemployed and available for work you may qualify for Jobseeker’s Allowance and other benefits, depending on your circumstances. You may also get help and support with your search for a job through the New Deal scheme.
