Green waste
Middlesbrough Council would once again like to thank all those residents that supported and participated in the garden green waste recycling collection scheme in 2011. This is an important part of our work to improve sustainable waste and recycling provision in Middlesbrough and your help and participation is much appreciated.
This service is suspended over the winter months between November and March. Kerbside garden green waste collections will cease at the end of October 2011, and resume week commencing Tuesday 20 March 2012. Please note that residents should put out their real Christmas trees on their normal refuse collection day after Christmas for collection. Please refer to your refuse and recycling calendars for your specific collection date.
