Middlesbrough Council has teamed up with partners at evengreener.com to enable residents to access discounted composters and composting accessories.  This means that for as little as £15 residents with a suitable outside space can start composting at home.  By composting green garden and kitchen waste at home you will reduce the amount of waste you put out for collection. Composting  items such as raw fruit and vegetable peelings, grass and hedge clippings, egg shells, tea bags and thin cardboard packaging, will mean you reduce the amount of waste sent for disposal as well as getting free compost that you can use in your garden to help your garden bloom.
