Middlesbrough and Stockton residents have access to the Household Waste Recycling Centre on Haverton Hill Road, Stockton.

This modern recycling site is run by SITA UK and has recycling facilities for almost all your waste needs.  Helpful staff should be on hand to assist and advise you where to put the different items.

The opening hours are:

Summer (1st April - 31st October) - 8am until 7pm
Winter (1st November - 31st March) - 8am until 6pm

This site is not open to commercial vehicles or traders. Residents using vans or 2-axle trailers require site permits before visiting the site. There are restrictions on the number of visits that can be made annually by vans and trailers. Please call the Environment Contact Centre on 01642 726001 to request a permit.
