Middlesbrough Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB)
Advocacy is about helping you understand what your rights are and what options are available to you. An advocate can help you put your views across or do this for you.
Middlesbrough CAB offer support to anyone who uses or wishes to use a Health and Social Care service. Middlesbrough CAB provide a free, confidential and independent service.
They can support anyone aged 18 and over who lives in the Middlesbrough area and:
- uses a service provided by the Department of Social Care, such as a residential home or a day service;
- uses a health service, such as a hospital or doctor;
- wants to use a health or social care service but is not at the moment and
- is a carer and needs support from services.

To ask for services to meet your needs
To sort out problems with your:
- Day Centre;
- Residential Home;
- Social Worker;
- Nurse;
- Doctor and
- Hospital you use.
We are there to listen to your concerns and work in a way that you are happy with.
