This criteria is applied to all adult services except carers’ services.

To decide if you are entitled to help we compare your needs against our eligibility criteria. Our eligibility criteria is set by the Government. Your Social Worker will explain the eligibility criteria to you if you ask them to.

We have to use this criteria as we cannot help everyone who asks. The criteria help us to decide who needs help the most. If we cannot provide you with a service we will refer you to other organisations that may be able to help where possible.
