Middlesbrough Primary Care Trust

Middlesbrough Primary Care Trust was established on 1st April 2002 and is the largest PCT in the County Durham and Tees Valley Health Authority area.

The PCT serves a population of 196,000 people living in the Middlesbrough, Eston, Normanby, South Bank and Grangetown area.

We have a challenging but ambitious programme of health improvement that seeks to secure long term benefits for public and patients by working in partnership with two local authorities, local NHS Trusts, other PCTs, the voluntary sector and of course individuals living in the PCT area.
