What we do
The Integrated Occupational Therapy service works across health and social care within Middlesbrough and Redcar & Cleveland.
There are approximately 116 staff working across the many clinical specialities listed below. These include regional and sub regional services which cover much of the north east and extend into Cumbria. We provide OT interventions for a wide range of individuals with physical disabilities, inpatients, outpatients and community. Services include rehabilitation programmes, manufacture and fitting of splints, assessment and advice on adaptive equipment, falls assessment and treatment, intermediate care and community hospitals. We also work with relatives and carers to enable them to fully assist in the care of the individual.
