- Community Grants - projects that benefit the people of Middlesbrough.
- Easy Access Fund - projects in Middlesbrough and Redcar & Cleveland that are doing things differently to address health and social care inequalities.

- Sportivate is a £32 million Lottery programme that gives 14-25 year olds access to six to eight week courses in a range of sports and physical activities including judo, gym & fitness, boxing, fencing, skateboarding, swimming and lots lots more. We are now inviting partners to submit applications for activities to be delivered from April 2012 - March 2013 and would welcome applications from a wide variety of organisations. Please download the application and summary sheet from the right hand side of this page. Deadline for applications is 5pm on the 20th December 2011.
- Sport England Small Grants programme - supports communities to increase access to sport or to improve the experience of people playing sport.
- Sport England Inspired facilities programme - clubs, community and voluntary sector groups can apply for grants of between £20,000 to £50,000 from where there is a proven local need for a facility to be modernised, extended or modified.
- Sport England Sports match programme - supports the development of grassroots sport.
