Municipal Golf Centre
Middlesbrough Municipal Golf Centre has been home to excellent golf for over 30 years. The fantastic 18 hole parkland golf course is set in 160 acres within south Middlesbrough and extends over 6,330 yards. The course has developed and matured over the years and has recently undergone major re developments which would challenge any golfer.

The centre is an excellent place to relax and unwind, our clubhouse offers a friendly traditional atmosphere and an excellent catering service with ample car parking facilities.
We are a premier function venue and can cater for all types of occasions such as birthdays, anniversaries and funerals. We can also cater for small conferences and meetings.
Changes to the use of trolleys on the course
As a new innovation for 2012 the Golf Centre is introducing an alternative to having a total trolley ban during the wetter winter conditions. When conditions become too wet for normal trolley wheels, the Golf Centre will permit the use of trolleys with "Hedgehog" attachments whenever conditions allow.
Firstly this is to protect the Course from damage and secondly we want to improve access to the Course, encouraging more play and less carrying during the wetter periods.
Trolleys with Hedgehog Wheels and slip on Hedgehog sleeve attachments can be hired or purchased from our on site partner A B Golf for as little as £2 per round subject to availability.
Owners of motorised caddies are advised to contact Andy Blythe on 01642 300720 for up to date advice. The Golf Centre updates it's detailed course condition report each morning by 8.15am, and this can be accessed via 01642 515745
