Southlands Centre

Southland Leisure Centre is based in East Middlesbrough and was opened in 1990 by Mr David Hunt M.P and is a redevelopment of a former school.
The Southlands Centre is host to plenty of competitive sport leagues including Football, Ladies Hockey and during the winter period a Cricket league.
A number of refurbishments have taken place over the last 2 years. The X4 gym is equipped with state of the art Technogym equipment and a new Community Room which is available to hire for meetings can hold upto 50 people and boasts 4 computers all with internet access.
Also at the Centre is the Active Zone which is used for aerobics, Children’s parties and much more. The new Spinning Studio with 15 bikes holds regular classes.
Our halls are available for hire all year round and are suitable for any special occasion whether that be a wedding, henna party, dance competition or even a dog show, we have staged them all.
