Club Based Sport
Members of the Sports Development Team work to support sports clubs and coaches in the area. If your club needs support ask us how we can help. This might be help in linking with schools, organising events, developing coaches, completing funding applications or recruiting volunteers.

If you're looking for a sports club to join we can help point you in the right direction. We have contacts for most of the sports clubs in Middlesbrough and the surrounding area.

Adult Health Related Fitness
Become ‘Active for Life’ with this town wide fitness programme for adults. The activities specifically support people who have not participated in sport and physical activity for many years and now want to get active and reap the associated benefits. Be introduced to activity at a level that is right for you and be supported as you develop in fitness and confidence. These group sessions are very social and mutually supportive, friendships developed often extend outside of the activity session.
Instructors lead activity sessions and are able to offer additional lifestyle advice
