Are you a:

Landlord

add

As a landlord you can appeal against the following decisions:

  • Who housing benefit is paid to
  • An overpayment of housing benefit where Middlesbrough Council has decided to recover the amount from you (the landlord)

You can appeal against any of the above decisions online.

For any appeal, please give full reasons as to why you disagree with the decision made and provide supporting evidence.

An appeal must be made within one calendar month of a decision. If an appeal is late, reasons must be given as to why.

An appeal received 13 months or more after the date of a decision is outside the absolute time limit and will not be accepted.
