Mini-CICC (age 7 to 13)

The Mini Children in Care Council (Mini-CICC) is a young person's council and social group for looked after children aged 7-13.

At this group we:

  • make friends and have lots of fun
  • help young people to have their voices heard
  • use the kitchen facilities to develop our cooking and independence skills
  • get involved in various projects to improve the services we use
  • give our views and opinions on services - what is working well for us and what needs to be improved
  • have drop-ins from services (e.g. street wardens, police, digital resilience)

How often do we meet?

The group meets every three weeks at Easterside Hub.

How can I join?
