About Boro Becks
The Boro Becks team delivered many successful projects and events as part of a three year project set up by Middlesbrough Council, the Environment Agency and the Tees Valley Wildlife Trust, funded by the Big Lottery as part of the Access to Nature grants programme.
The four becks which were covered by the project were Marton West Beck, Middle Beck, Ormesby Beck and Spencer Beck. A dedicated group of Boro Becks volunteers have continued to work on a regular basis on the beck corridors, deliver many of the conservation schemes which were part of the original project.
If you have any ideas, queries, questions or suggestions about Middlesbrough's becks, please get in touch via email to email@example.com. You can also get updates by liking the Boro Becks Facebook page.
About the Friends of Boro Becks
The good work of looking after the four becks is now covered by the Friends of Boro Becks, a team of volunteers who cover the Marton West Beck, Middle Beck, Ormesby Beck and Spencer Beck. The group meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays at various locations along the becks.
