Town Hall volunteers

Do you like talking to people and promoting projects?

Would you like to help families take part in simple activities to help them understand the Town Hall Refurbishment and Renovation Project during closure?

If you'd like working with a team and having fun while also representing the Town Hall at local events, then this opportunity could be for you.

We're looking for volunteers to assist in running the ‘My Town Hall’ (MTH) space/exhibits promoting Middlesbrough Town Hall.

The type of events you'd be attending could include Middlesbrough Mela, the Cleveland Show, family fun days at Community Hubs, and the Town Meal.

You may also like to help with pop-up exhibitions in other locations on occasions. ‘My Town Hall’ is part of the wider programme to engage the general public in the heritage and restoration of Middlesbrough Town Hall.

Essential: Interpersonal and communication skills, enthusiasm, ability to give instructions and run a simple activity.

Desirable: Some knowledge of Middlesbrough's heritage, teaching and craft skills, flexibility.

You'll be asked to attend basic Town Hall Volunteer training before undertaking this role.

To apply please use the online application form.
