SSAFA operates in conjunction with Army, Royal Navy, and Royal Airforce charities, The Royal British Legion, and also with civilian charities and organisations which may be able to assist.

Jobcentre Plus

You can contact Jobcentre Plus about new benefit claims, existing benefit claims, and changing or cancelling an appointment.

There are two Jobcentre Plus offices in Middlesbrough, one in James Cook House, Middlesbrough and the other in Beresford Buildings, Thorntree.

Both offices work with a range of welfare benefits and credits claimants, including those on Universal Credit, Jobseeker's Allowance, Income Support, Employment and Support Allowance, and Carer's Allowance.
