Free Tickets for Indian-Blues Fusion at the Town Hall

Middlesbrough Town Hall has launched a scheme to offer free classical music concert tickets to local residents.

Next up is twice Grammy-nominated Debashish Bhattacharya - one of the world's greatest slide guitarists who blends Indian classical music with western blues - with 400 free tickets available on Friday, June 7.

Embracing Hawaiian slide guitar from his childhood in the 1960s, Debashish invented a unique style of Hindustani slide guitar and has been performing to audiences for over four decades with his unique blend of Indian ragas and western styles.

Debashish will be accompanied by talented vocalist Anandi Bhattacharya and renowned tabla player Tanmoy Bose.
