Harry Potter book night at Central Library

Middlesbrough's Central Library will be transformed into Hogwarts for a fun filled Harry Potter book night with events for all ages on Thursday, February 7.

  • 3.45 to 4.45pm – Quieter autism friendly session – children can meet Harry Potter look-a-like Luke Williams as well as magical creatures from Kirkleatham Owl Centre and enjoy a craft. £2 per child (accompanying adult free).
  • 5 to 7pm – The Harry Potter look-a-like will perform amazing magic in the library’s very own Great Hall plus there’ll be photo opportunities. Meet fantastic beasts from Kirkleatham Owl Centre. Tilly’s Cupcakes will be selling Harry Potter themed cakes. Enjoy crafts, make a potion and search for treasure. All for just £2 per child and £1 per accompanying adult. Suitable for ages 5-12.
  • 7.30 to 9pm – Harry Potter Quiz with quiz master Luke Williams! A fiendishly difficult quiz for Potterheads aged 13+. Teams must be 2 to 6 people £3 per person.
