Your rubbish and recycling should be collected on the day shown in your bin collection calendar.
Occasionally, collections are missed because of operational issues, like one of our bin lorries breaking down. When this happens we'll do our best to empty these missed bins at the earliest possible opportunity.
If your bin hasn't been emptied, it might be because you've put out more rubbish than we're able to collect. The lid of your bin should be fully closed, and you shouldn't have left any excess waste (black bags etc.) next to the bin. Alternatively, you might have put your bin out after 7am and missed the collection.
If you have extra waste, or you’ve missed your collection, you can take your waste to the Household Waste Recycling Site at Haverton Hill, or you can book a collection of household items (which is a chargeable service).
