The easiest way to comment on a planning application is online. You'll need to create an account and login before you can comment.
If you're struggling to do it online, you can email developmentcontrol@middlesbrough.gov.uk. Or you can write to: Development Control Service, Middlesbrough Council, Fountain Court, 119 Grange Road, Middlesbrough, TS1 2DT.
Please make sure you include your name, address, and contact details, as well as your concerns and the reasons you support or oppose the application.
What to include in your comment
You should look at the proposals carefully before you make your comment, so you understand the development and make comments which are relevant.
We can only look at material planning considerations when we're making a decision about a planning application. This means that any comments you make must also be based on material planning considerations.

The consultation period for most planning applications is 3 weeks. To cover holidays and unplanned absences etc., we usually extend the consultation period to 4 weeks.
