Early Help

The Early Help service is offered to families who may need advice, guidance or general support with some aspect of their family life. Work can be done in the local children's centre or in the family home.

The team supports families with issues such as:

  • feeling isolated
  • depression
  • using positive behaviour
  • management strategies
  • managing difficult situations within the home
  • setting up routines and boundaries within the family.

We service also offers advice in relation to housing, finances, budgeting or signposting to other relevant services. Access is by referral through a practitioner who knows the family situation and which services may be of help.
