Dorman Museum welcomes a new LEGO® themed exhibition 'Brick by Brick', featuring work by international artists, designers and photographers who use LEGO® bricks as their medium or their inspiration.
The exhibition features a range of two and three-dimensional work in a variety of scales and formats, from jewellery to sculpture and photography, aiming to showcase the wide range of creative approaches that artists take when using this iconic construction brick.
The exhibition consists of a range of stunning 2D and 3D work in a variety of scales, from jewellery to sculpture, and the show includes both wall mounted and plinth based exhibits.
Inspired by the wide range of artworks on show, a LEGO® graffiti wall, build tables and a selection of LEGO® related games and will give visitors the opportunity to try their hand at creating their own construction brick artwork.
Participating artists are: The Little Artists, Valentino Fialdini, David Hughes, David Turner, Jason Freeny, Ekow Nimako, Janet Curley Cannon, Hannah Gibson, Cole Blaq, Little Big Art, Zino, Eat My Bricks, Samsofy, Michael Brennand-Wood, James Paterson, Agabag, AME 72, and Jonathan Rolph.
