Ceremonies at approved venues

There are a number of venues in Middlesbrough which are licensed to hold marriage and civil partnership ceremonies.

These venues can offer ceremonies outside of normal working times, including Sundays and Bank Holidays (except Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Year's Day). They also let you have your wedding breakfast and ceremony in the same place.

If you'd like to hold your ceremony at one of these venues, you'll need to contact them first to check their availability. You'll then need to contact us and make sure that a registration officer will be available to perform your ceremony. You can email us at register@middlesbrough.gov.uk or call 01642 729004.

You can find out about the cost of a ceremony at an approved venue on the Register Office fees page.
