To apply, you'll need to fill in the volunteering application form and send it when you contact the organisation or group you want to volunteer with.

In Out of the Cold - 18 December 2023
In Out of the Cold is an annual festive event bringing warmth and cheer to people who are homeless or suffering hardship. The event provides companionship, advice, and assistance, in a relaxed and friendly environment.
There will be hot food and drinks, advice and information stalls, access to warm clothing and donations, and a carol service for the attendees. Attendees will also be able to get useful advice and support, and information about services which can help them.
In Out of the Cold will take place at Middlesbrough Town Hall on Monday 18 December 2023, from 1pm to 3:30pm.
We need volunteers on the day to help with the event. There are a number of roles, which will be assigned before the event. We need volunteers from 9am on the day, as well as during the event (1pm to 3:30pm).

Green spaces
Middlesbrough is full of beautiful green spaces, many of which are maintained with the help of dedicated volunteer groups. If you like being outdoors and are not afraid to get your hands dirty, why not join one of these groups?
