Parents across Middlesbrough are being reminded that the secondary school admissions deadline date is approaching.

The closing date for secondary applications for the 2024/25 academic year is Tuesday, October 31 (applications are open now).

Parents must apply for a school place for every child moving from primary to secondary school.

Places can be applied for online now.

If applications are returned after the closing date, they will not be considered until all the ‘on-time' applications have been processed.

Where preference forms are not returned at all, children will be allocated places by the Council at a school with places remaining after all the other applications have been processed.

For more information, FAQs and to make an application, visit the Middlesbrough Council school admissions website.

For any assistance with the application process, contact the School Admissions Team on 01642 726376 or 01642 201892.
