The Dorman Museum offers a great range of permanent display galleries to captivate visitors of all ages, from space to Middlesbrough through time.
The museum houses the largest public collection of Linthorpe Art Pottery, as well as designs by the renowned British designer, Christopher Dresser.
For refreshments, check out the Victorian-style Dressers Tearoom, and for a perfect souvenir of your visit, don't miss the museum shop, which sells exclusive Dresser merchandise!
Admission to the museum is free.

October half-term
Head down to the museum for a sensationally spooky Autumn with our October half-term activities. Get involved with our wicked craft workshops, spooky VR ride, and creepy creatures trail. Our Ghoul School on 31 October is a day full of activities to keep you busy, including a magic show and a silent disco. You can book your tickets online.

The museum is open from 10am to 4pm from Tuesday to Sunday, and closed on Mondays.

Public transport: buses 12 and 13 (Stagecoach), and 17, 17A, 17B, 29, and 63 (Arriva) stop outside the museum. You can catch these buses from Middlesbrough bus station. You can also plan a journey by car or by public transport.
