Assisted bin collections are available to people whose circumstances make it difficult for them to leave their waste outside for collection.
You may be eligible for an assisted collection if you can prove that you have a medical condition or disability which stops you from moving your bin. You may also be eligible if you're an older person and you find it difficult or impossible to move your bin.
You're only eligible for the assisted collection service if you live alone, or there is no able-bodied person aged 16 or over at the property, or any other individual, who could assist you with presenting your waste for collection.
If you need an assisted collection, you can apply online. We'll then look at whether you're eligible for help. The assessment might include us visiting your property to verify your request for an assisted collection in person.
