What goes in my black refuse bin?

Most residents have a black refuse bin for rubbish, but some use black sacks.

It's important that you put the right rubbish in the right bin. You should not put recyclable items or garden waste into your black bin or sacks.

Please remember that we will not collect any waste left beside your bin. You must be able to fit all of your waste inside the bin and close the lid. Find out more about how to put your bins out.

You must bag all of your rubbish before putting it into the bin. This reduces smells and also keeps your bin clean.
