Educational visits and outdoor learning

The Educational Visits Advisory Service is responsible for providing information about educational visits and outdoor learning. It supports schools, units, services, head teachers, educational visit coordinators, and visit leaders, to develop and implement policies and risk assessments.

The aim is to ensure that children and young people can take part in high quality, safe, educational, and adventurous activities.

Information and guidance is provided via the Evolve Educational Visits Management System.

The Educational Visits Advisory Service is provided by North Yorkshire County Council.
