Fly-posting

Fly-posting means placing posters, stickers, or signs in public without permission, for example on walls, lampposts, bins, or trees.

We remove more than 500 illegal posters a week, which costs us thousands of pounds every year. Fly posting is unsightly and adds to fear of crime in an area.

It's illegal to display an unauthorised advertisement (fly-posting), and you can be subject to the maximum penalty fine on prosecution.

You can report an issue with fly-posting by calling our Customer Centre on 01642 245432.
